PINK CREAM 69 and ADAGIO frontman DAVID READMAN cut a solo debut album in early 2006 with producer and PINK CREAM 69 colleague Dennis Ward. Contributing studio musicians included guitarist Alex Beyroth of SILENT FORCE, WILD AXIS, SHORTINO, SINNER and THE SYGNET repute, TOMMY DENANDER of PRISONER, RADIOACTIVE and DEACON STREET with CRY HAVOC's Paul Logue on bass and ADAGIO man Dirk Bruinenberg on drums. Readman returned the favour to Paul Logue by aiding with backing vocals on the bassist's EDEN'S CURSE projects debut album.

Just prior to these solo sessions, Readman had recorded as part of the ANDERSEN / LAINE / READMAN project, mentored by ROYAL HUNT keyboard player ANDRE ANDERSEN. The album 'III', issued through the Italian Frontiers label in March 2006, saw vocal duties shared between Readman and Paul Laine of DANGER DANGER.

Readman toured throughout Germany in November and December 2006, his live band including SILENT FORCE guitarist Alex Beyrodt and drummer Mel Gaynor of SIMPLE MINDS repute.

In September 2008 AFM Records announced the signing of David Readman's latest band project VOODOO CIRCLE. He would be joined on the eponymous album by colleagues Alex Beyrodt and Mel Gaynor plus bassist Mat Sinner, of SINNER and PRIMAL FEAR and keyboard player Jimmy Kresic.
