Wolverhampton Metal band created in 2002. Former PRIDE personnel guitarist Connor Emms and drummer Derren Wooton founded HEADSPEED with second guitarist Rich Williams and bassist Chris Walton. The album 'Blueprint For Disaster' was recorded at Spool Studio in late 2003. Subsequent live dates witnessed supports to ANTHRAX, STAMPIN' GROUND, TESTAMENT, SIKTH and BREED 77. 'Blueprint For Disaster' saw a self-financed release on the custom Defcon Music label in November 2004. Following a UK tour supporting CRADLE OF FILTH Casket Music, a division of Copro Records, re-issued the album in June 2005.

In 2006 the entire HEADSPEED cast united with ex-PRIDE and NATIVE CAIN singer Lee Small to forge SURVEILLANCE to issue the 2006 'Angelstation' album.
