Biography

An alliance between former DIAMOND HEAD lead vocalist Sean Harris and former DAVID BYRON and MAGNUM guitarist ROBIN GEORGE, NOTORIOUS were indeed notorious for spending huge amounts of money on an album that only saw a brief American release in 1990. It charted before allegedly being killed by a change of staff at the record company.

Apart from the album and a flop single, NOTORIOUS also contributed the track 'Here We Go' to the 'Highlander II' movie soundtrack. Drums were handled by former MAGNUM, UFO and BUDGIE man Jim Simpson whilst none other than GLENN HUGHES contributed backing vocals.

Since the demise of the project George is back to pursuing a solo career, after production work with the likes of GLENN HUGHES and MARSHALL LAW. Robin wound up recording an album with his new band. LIFE in 1996 as Harris had revamped DIAMOND HEAD in the interim, but the latter predictably floundered once again. Post millennium though, DIAMOND HEAD had risen once again.

ROBIN GEORGE returned to his solo career but struck up another new band project in mid 2005 dubbed DAMAGE CONTROL, this an alliance with UFO, WAYSTED and OZZY OSBOURNE bassist PETE WAY and the veteran figure of AC/DC, URIAH HEEP, ASIA, MANFRED MANN, 100 PROOF and THE FIRM drummer Chris Slade.
