WARHEAD was an extracurricular band project of MOTÖRHEAD guitarist WÜRZEL. Bassist Algy Ward is a TANK, DAMNED and ATOM GOD veteran whilst lead vocalist and drummer Evo is known as the driving force behind WARFARE. Chris Labron donated keyboards. WARHEAD would issue a solitary, self-titled album on the Communique label in 1995.

By 1995 Ward was back in the DAMNED then subsequently resurrected TANK whilst Wurzel, having quit MOTÖRHEAD and after playing the London clubs with THE GANG SHOW, was a member of Punk band DISGUST.
