Biography

Doomsters THINE were formed in 1996 by singer Alan Gaunt, guitarist Paul Groundwell and drummer Dan Mullins. The group soon made an impression with the 'Journeys' cassette, distributed by the Black Tears label. Another tape, 'Blue', surfaced in March of 1997. Signing to the Peaceville stable THINE cut their teeth on the live circuit in November of 1997 acting as support to the infamous Norwegian Black Metal band MAYHEM. The 1998 album 'A Town Like This' was supported by guest slots in the UK to both ANATHEMA and MISERY LOVES COMPANY.

Drummer Dan Mullins would journey through BROKEN, SERMON OF HYPOCRISY, THE RAVEN THEORY and in July of 2004 joined BAL SAGOTH. Mullins stepped up a league further in February by joining MY DYING BRIDE.
