Act founded upon the tenth anniversary of TEN YEARS AFTER by vocalist / guitarist ALVIN LEE. Joining him for TEN YEARS LATER was former ANDROMEDA bassist Mick Hawksworth and drummer Tom Compton. Also sessioning was GREASE BAND and COAST ROAD DRIVE keyboard player Mick Weaver. The 1979 album was recorded live in the studio.

Lee resumed his solo career in 1980 with the 'Free Fall' album and resurrected TEN YEARS AFTER in 1989. Hawksworth teamed up with MAN guitarist Micky Jones and drummer Phil Little to create THE FLYING PIGS in 1981. The bassist later joined the MICK CLARKE BAND.
