In February 2006 CANCER drummer Carl Stokes announced the split of his former group and the arrival of a new band billed HAIL OF FIRE. This new unit featured ex-CANCER members guitarists Dave Leitch and Barry Savage, bassist Ian Buchanan and newcomer Rob Lucas on vocals. Leitch also held prior credits with PULVERISED. HAIL OF FIRE recorded a four song demo in March.
