London Rock act founded by former EPISODE SIX, QUATERMASS, SAMMY and PEACE drummer Mick Underwood in 1975. The debut album was produced by DEEP PURPLE bassist ROGER GLOVER. STRAPPS found success in the American South and Japan but failed to chart in the UK.

Glover also worked on the band's second album 'Secret Damage'. A projected fourth album 'Ball Of Fire' was recorded in 1979 but shelved. Underwood joined GILLAN. 'Ball Of Fire' would be finally issued by Psychobird Records. Underwood reactivated QUATERMASS in 1997.
