SLADE II

Biography

Created in 1993 by SLADE veterans guitarist Dave Hill and drummer Don Powell when SLADE frontman Noddy Holder made it clear he had opted out of live work for good. SLADE II vocalist Steve Whalley was an ex-member of REDBEARDS FROM TEXAS. In September 2000 bassist Trevor Holiday would be replaced by Dave Glover, whose previous credits include BC SWEET and the GLITTER BAND.

SLADE II have toured heavily, playing to many large audiences across Europe in particular Germany and Russia. Subsequently the band, still minus Noddy, reverted back to the SLADE handle. A new single, 'Some Exercise' recorded at New Rising Studios in Essex, was issued through Virgin in June of 2002. The album 'Cum On Let's Party' followed.
