Biography
An English Heavy Rock band formed in 1986, the group boasted a line-up of musicians with a great deal of previous experience. The original membership comprised ex-WIDOWMAKER singer Steve Ellis, former GRAND PRIX drummer Andy Bierne and bassist Martin Connolly. The latter had worked with RICK WAKEMAN, VAN MORRISON and NICKO McBRAIN. Indeed, the latter would actually have a very brief stint with BLACK SABBATH but would soon return to the SCARLET ranks.
After the recording of the 'Red Alert' album Ellis was replaced with Colin Peel. The singer would later front PRAYING MANTIS for their 'Predator In Disguise' album.
In 1992, the rhythm section would be used as session musicians on ex-IRON MAIDEN vocalist BRUCE DICKINSON's 'Ball To Picasso' album.
Peel would play a role in the movie 'Buddy's Song' together with THE WHO's Roger Daltrey and work on the soundtrack to the movie 'Strokers'
