Biography

Nottingham trad Thrash Metal band, GODSEND featured ex SABBAT men Andy Sneap and Wayne Banks, former SLEEZEPATROL drummer, Mole (real name Ian Etheridge) and ex-BANGKOK SHAKES singer Rob Reid.

GODSEND released the 'Heavier Than A Death In The Family' four track demo in 1993, comprising 'Self Sacrifice', 'Dressed In Skin', 'Realms' and 'Mind Flying'. The group added new bassist Jason Bierne in early 1995 and recorded a new four track demo titled 'When Man Plays God'.

GODSEND broke up in 1996 despite offers of record deals. Mole later sessioned for WRAITH. Sneap continued an engineering and production career, gaining a credit on the 1996 release from DEARLY BEHEADED and later STUCK MOJO. Sneap is now a highly rated producer much in demand as well as treading the boards on ocassion with Spoof Metal band FOZZY.

By 1998 Mole had his own tribute act on the circuit titled MOLETALLICA. Wayne Banks joined BLAZE in April of 2003 and would also join the touring line up of BRAZEN ABBOT and subsequently Germany's MESSIAH'S KISS. By 2006 singer Rob Reid was playing the part of "Ozzy Oddbin" in BLACK SABBATH tribute band SACK SABBATH.
