Northampton trad Heavy Metal band METALHEAD, forged in 2003, feature New Zealanders Lawrence Paterson on drums, a scene veteran of Kiwi bands DESTROYER and TALON and UK acts ARBITRATER and CHIMERA and frontman Paul Robbie of DESTROYER, TALON and HAMMERACK repute. Guitarist Shoi Sengupta was previously a member of CRYPT and French outfit DESIQUILIBRIUM. In late 2004 the band lost the services of rhythm guitarist Pete Worley, replacing him with Dominic Mather. Paterson joined SHADOWKEEP in early 2005.
