A Los Angeles based outfit of ex pats, LION included guitarist Robin Le Mesurier, the wayward son of 'Dad's Army' actor John Le Mesurier. Robin later toured as part of ROD STEWART's backing band. Keyboard player John Sinclair, previously with the HEAVY METAL KIDS, has been a long standing member of the OZZY OSBOURNE band.

Drummer Eric Dillon boasts stints with FAT MATTRESS, HEMLOCK and SAVOY BROWN. GARY FARR had issued a 1969 solo album and previous to that had his own act GARY FARR & THE T. BONES which included KEITH EMERSON in the ranks.
