Biography
The 1985 era act L.A. SECRETS was centred on former STAMPEDE, LAUTREC, WILD HORSES and GRAND SLAM guitarist Lawrence Archer. Fronting the band was Sam Blue (a.k.a. Sam Blewitt), a veteran of AXIS and EMERSON. Keyboard player Josh Phillips-Gorsh held DIAMOND HEAD credits, bassist Gary Leidermann had ties to BROADWAY BRATS and BRITISH LION whilst drummer Ian Roberts was previously with Nikki Buzz's M-80.
Once the project was over, Archer joined up with Danny Peyronel's Spanish based outfit TARZEN in 1986. Subsequently, Archer and Liedrmann founded RHODE ISLAND RED. Archer then joined UFO, featuring on the album 'High Stakes And Dangerous Men'. Blue enrolled into the PAUL SAMSON led EMPIRE. Bassist Gary Leidermann would work with IRON MAIDEN guitarist Adrian Smith on two project bands, A.S.A.P. and PSYCHO MOTEL.
