HOME vocalist Mick Stubbs and drummer Mick Cook were both previously with the BLUE RONDOS and THE SYNDICATS. HOME rapidly progressed over three albums from Soft Rock to Progressive Concept Rock, 'The Alchemist' album being highly recommended. Strangely the band were dropped after recording an even superior fourth album which remains unreleased.

Following HOME's split guitarist Laurie Wisefield came to world attention in WISHBONE ASH. Bassist Cliff Williams teamed up with BANDIT for two albums before joining AC/DC for a lengthy tenure. Drummer Mick Cook went to THE GROUNDHOGS.
