Launched in 2003, HODSON would be the melodic Rock vehicle of keyboard player Paul Hodson, a man noted for his prior contributions to HARD RAIN, PULSE, TEN and as songwriter and producer for MAGNUM's BOB CATLEY. Taking on the lead vocal role Hodson allied himself with PULSE and BOB CATLEY band guitarist Vince O'Regan, bassist Josie Vespa and PULSE's Lynch Radinsky on the drums. The 2004 debut 'This Strange World', released by the Italian Frontiers label, would include a cover version of RAINBOW's 'Light In The Black'.

Hodson provided live keyboards for US act BLUE TEARS performance at the November 2005 'Firefest 2' festival held at Nottingham's Rock City
