Scottish act CANNES guitarist Dave Senczak had previously been a member of Burnley's STREETFIGHTER, replacing JOHN SYKES upon his departure to TYGERS OF PAN TANG. Senczak was destined to be replaced by Ian Murray, however and joined LEA HART's 'All Stars' to tour Japan.

CANNES supported American Rockers ROUGH CUTT at London's Marquee in 1986. Managed by Bill Cayley CANNES major claim to fame was their appearance on Channel 4's the short-lived ECT TV series.

Vocalist Colin Peel joined SCARLET for an album 'Red Alert' in 1989 and later toured and recorded with NWoBHM veterans PRAYING MANTIS and also was to be found acting in various West End productions, including 'Buddy's Song'.
