Biography
Brian Howe made his name fronting BAD COMPANY throughout thei platinum status 80's period on albums such as 'Dangerous Age', 'Holy Water' and 'Here Comes Trouble'. Previous to BAD COMPANY Howe sang for NWoBHMers SHY (releasing one now rare single), WHITE SPIRIT and for American wildman TED NUGENT.
The album is produced by ex-CHARLIE guitarist Terry Thomas (also responsible for production on all of the Howe era BAD COMPANY records) and features CHARLIE, FOREIGNER and BAD COMPANY bassist Felix Krish and session guitarist Chris Hunt. A further album was recorded in 1999, again with Thomas, but remains unreleased.
The BRIAN HOWE band, with guitarist Dean Aicher, toured America during 2000 on a double bill with PAT TRAVERS. By 2002 his touring band comprised guitarists Dean Aicher and Jeff Carlisi, the latter of .38 SPECIAL repute, former HEART bassist Mark Andes and drummer Sean Shannon, a veteran of acts such as MOLLY HATCHET, LES DUDEK, IRON CROSS, ROB ROCK and the PAT TRAVERS band.
Howe would feature in a benefit concert at the Germain Arena in Fort Myers in Florida on 10th September 2004, performing alongside AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson and bassist Cliff Williams, in an effort to raise funds for the American Red Cross' relief efforts in the wake of the devastating Hurricane Charly.
A 2005 album, recorded for Germany's MTM Music label, saw Howe working in the studio with Jeff Carlisi, guitarist Bryan Le Mar, bassist Miguel Gonzalez and drummer Richard Sanders. Later that same year Gonzales joined the solo band of LAUREN HARRIS, oldest daughter of IRON MAIDEN's Steve Harris.
