Punk Metallers the BLOOD debuted in 1992 with a line-up of Cardinal Jesus Hate on lead vocals, guitarist J.J. Bedsore, bassist Muttley and drummer Doctor Wildthing. BLOOD supported MAJOR ACCIDENT on a British tour after which Wildthing quit to be replaced by the headlining act's drummer Evo.

In 1984 Evo joined ANGELIC UPSTARTS before forming WARFARE. His position was filled by ex TANK drummer Mark Brabbs. Ex-keyboard player Phil 'Butcher' Munday formed GRIMM FACTS in 1987.
