The Arista signed BANDIT specialized in Blues tinged Hard Rock, but would adopt a more AOR stance with time. Guitarist James Litherland, as well as noted for his spell in COLOSSEUM, is ex MOGUL THRASH, an outfit that released one eponymous album for RCA in 1971. BANDIT's main claim to fame can only be that the band played the role of stepping stone for the careers of the aforementioned Jim Diamond and former HOME bassist Cliff Williams.

Whereas Diamond achieved brief solo success fronting PHD, Williams replaced Mark Evans in AC/DC. The rest, as they say, is history....

Diamond re-emerged in 1999 singing on ex GENESIS guitarist STEVE HACKETT's album 'Darktown'. Guitarist Danny McIntosh resurfaced on the GRAND HOTEL album 'Do Not Disturb' in 1979.
