Solothurn Metal band HEADHUNTER, fronted by BLOODY SIX vocalist Peter McTanner, surely must have had their name inspired by compatriots KROKUS' album of the same name. Bacillus Records released an eponymous album in 1985, this set featuring a cover version of SWEET's 'Action'.

Both guitarist Manny Maurer and bassist Brian "Beat Tiger" Kofmehl are both ex-members of KILLER. Ironically Maurer would spend a period of employment in AIN'T DEAD YET then within the KROKUS ranks in the late '80s, whilst vocalist Peter McTanner later recorded with KROKUS members in the side project HEAVYS in the late 80s and early 90s. Dropping the 'Mc' from his stage name Tanner would even front KROKUS for their 1990 'Stampede' album.

Tanner was still in business later fronting MR. PERFECT, an act featuring former U.D.O., CRAAFT and SINNER members. By 2000 Tanner was in collusion with another ex KROKUS vocalist Marc Storace issuing the DC WORLD eponymous album. Quite surreally the whole affair was a melody of AC/DC hits with Tanner aping the part of Brian Johnson.
