Växjö Death Metal combo. DETHRONEMENT debuted with a four song demo in 1996, followed up by 'Astral Serenity' in March 1997 and 'Breeding The Demonseed' in June 1998. Loud 'n Proud Records issued the album 'Survival Of The Sickest' in 1999. This set included the MASSACRE cover version 'Dawn Of Eternity'.

DETHRONEMENT's drummer Smattro Ansjovis, more commonly known as 'Adde Mitroulis' and also under the nickname 'Adrielbiff', cites credits with BIRDFLESH, GENERAL SURGERY, JIGSORE TERROR and SAYYADINA. Ansjovis and bassist Jörgen Örnhem, as 'Gore In My Head', had previously been operational with BACON WARRIORS.

Upon DETHRONEMENT's demise guitarrists Johan Jonasson and Robert Lilja forged eighties Heavy Metal band DANGER.
