Biography

Trollhätten based Crossover Metal band forged by RAT SALAD bassist Micael Larsson and guitarist Tommy Scalisi Svensson as a side project to their priority act in 1995. Replacing Larsson with Robert Hakemo, GOOSEFLESH released the demos 'The Wraith' and 'Glow' in 1996 and 'Welcome To The Suffer Age' in 1997. These latter recordings would subsequently see commercial release as an EP issued through the Spanish Goldtrack label. The band submitted their rendition of 'Slave New World' to the SEPULTURA tribute album ''Sepultural Feast'. The full length 'Chemical Garden' album was recorded originally for the German High Gain label but the closure of this label necessitated the securing of fresh deals. The record finally surfaced in Europe through Digital Dimension and in Japan via Dolphin Entertainment.

GOOSEFLESH folded in 2001 with vocalist Kristian Lampila and bassist Robert Hakemo founding MINDSNARE. Svensson and drummer Lars Berger founded ELECTRIC EARTH. Ex-bassist Micael Larsson would be back on the circuit with BLACK SABBATH tribute band SABBRA CADABRA.

Hakemo joined GARDENIAN in early 2003. In early 2004 the bassist was part of a band collaboration entitled KEROZENE, a union between guitarist Niclas Engelin, of SARCAZM, PASSENGER, GARDENIAN and IN FLAMES repute, drummer Patrik J. Sten, also of PASSENGER and an ex-TRANSPORT LEAGUE member, along with vocalist Mikael Skager. In August 2006 Robert Hakemo joined M.A.N.
