BLOODLINE, a joint Scandinavian / Italian collaboration, is the pooling of extreme Metal skills from Nattefrost of CARPATHIAN FOREST, WORLD DESTROYER, AURA NOIR and TAAKE repute, Sasrof (a.k.a. Björn Holmberg) of DIABOLICUM and SETHERIAL with Maestro Set Teitan 313 (a.k.a. Sethlans Larva Shaytan) from ABORYM. Nysrok Infernalien of ABORYM would handle keyboards. The formative stages of the alliance saw the inclusion of drummer Mysteriis (a.k.a. Håkan Sjödin) of BLACKWINDS, IN BATTLE, SETHERIAL and DIABOLICUM.

The A side of BLOODLINE's January 2002 7" single, issued by the German Ketzer Productions label, was a cover version of BURZUM's 'A Pestilence Long Forgotten'. Naturally the 'Werewolf Training' album, recorded at Greencastle Studios and released in September 2003, would be limited to the customary 666 copies.
