Hailing from Strömstad, Sweden, SARCASTIC was formed in 1992 as a purist Thrash Metal band. Tracks were contributed to various compilation albums before the group was retired in 1997. Guitarist Erik Halvorsen subsequently featured with SWORDMASTER and DEATHSTARS.

Returning to action once again, SARCASTIC issued the demo 'Forever Fucked Up Chaos' in 2004.

SARCASTIC returned to the live stage on 20th December 2008 when the group supported SABATON as part of the 'Rockstad' festival in Uddevalla. This was SARCASTIC's first performance since 2004 and its first concert with returning guitarist Erik Halvorsen in 11 years.
