FLESH is the 2005 old school Death Metal solo project of Strängnäs based guitarist Peter 'Flesh' Karlsson, a veteran of THE MORTICIAN DEAD, MAZE OF TORMENT and DECEIVER. Karlsson held a wealth of scene credentials, commencing with the 1991 EMBRYO demo 'Damnatory Cacophony'. With next project HARMONY he featured on demos, 1992's 'Blood Angels' and 'Until I Dream' plus 1994's 'The Radiance From A Star'. THE MORTICIAN DEAD released the 2002 demo 'Necrophalia Retribution' prior to Karlsson joining MAZE OF TORMENT.

The FLESH album, 'Dödsångest' emerged through the Gothenburg based label Iron Fist Productions, being recorded over just three days in June at the Abyss studio with producer Tommy Tägtgren. Karlsson handled lead vocals, guitar and bass whilst DECEIVER's Flingan (a.k.a. Magnus Flink) delivered the drums.

Working with DECEIVER bassist Crille Lundin, Flesh formulated THROWN in 2006 for a debut album, entitled 'The Suicidal Kings Occult', recorded at the Abyss studio with producer Tommy Tägtgren over just five days commencing August 30th 2006. A new FLESH album, 'Temple Of Whores', was released in September through Iron Fist Productions.

The project switched labels to Singapore based Pulverised Records for a third album.
