VICIOUS ART is a 2004 founded Death / Thrash act forged by former DARK FUNERAL and DOMINION CALIGULA members Mattias 'Dominion' Mäkelä and Robert 'Gaahnfaust' Lundin, also both holding OBSCURITY credentials. The duo subsequently enrolled Jörgen Sandström of GOD AMONG INSECTS, THE PROJECT HATE, KRUX, NASUM and a veteran of ENTOMBED and GRAVE on bass. Secondary guitars would be delegated to Tobbe Sillman of GUIDANCE OF SIN and THE DEAD.

The band would soon sign an album deal with ENTOMBED's Threeman Recordings, 'Fire Falls And The Waiting Waters' being set for a November release. To coincide, VICIOUS ART made their concert debut at the TantogÃ¥rden venue in Stockholm in 12th November alongside MȪRK GRYNING and NINNUAM.

The VICIOUS ART triumvirate of Tobbe Sillman, Jocke Widfeldt and Matti Mäkelä featured as backing vocalists on THE PROJECT HATE's 2005 album ''Armageddon March Eternal (Symphonies Of Slit Wrists)'. Jörgen Sandström also announced the formation of a deliberatly retro-Death Metal band project entitled DEATH BREATH in collaboration with his erstwhile ENTOMBED colleague and THE HELLACOPTERS frontman Nicke Andersson with THUNDER EXPRESS man Robert Persson on guitar.

VICIOUS ART issued the 'Weed The Wild' EP in February 2006.
