Biography

Created in 2002, Stockholm's Death Metal combo MYNJUN boasts a wealth of seasoned, extreme Metal scene veterans in its ranks. Initiated by PHANINDRA guitarist Adam Skogvard the project came to life with an alliance with second guitarist Jonas 'Skinny' Kangur. The OPETH credited David Isberg briefly enrolled as vocalist. Forging ahead, MYNJUN recruited CENTINEX, AMARAN and JULIE LAUGHS NO MORE man Ronnie Bergerståhl on drums in October and then COERCION bassist Rickard Thulin.

As 2003 drew in Skogvard took over vocal responsibilities as Daniel Josefsson of Falköping Thrash merchants BENEATH was inducted on second guitar for recording of the two song, December 2003 demo 'Commencement'.

In June of 2004, maintaining their ties to MYNJUN, both Skogvard and Thulin joined the ranks of IMPERIOUS. Ronnie Bergerståhl joined WORLD BELOW in December. A second demo, 'Receding Strengths', was recorded in January 2005.

Announced in June 2009, BRAATHUM was the name of a Death Metal band featuring MYNJUN members David Isberg and Adam Skogvards along with bass player Daniel Ädel, better known for playing defense for Iceland's national ice hockey team.
