HARMS WAY was assembled in the winter of 2003 by guitarist Freddie Lindgren, holding scene credits with a myriad of acts such as UNLEASHED as 'Freddy Eugene', LOUDPIPES, CELESTIAL PAIN, TERRA FIRMA and BORN OF FIRE, and vocalist / bassist Mr Dim from BORN OF FIRE. This pair would be joined in March 2004 by second guitarist Erik Wallin, of MERCILESS repute, and Mike on drums. That October a three song demo would be recorded, being subsequently picked up by Iron Fist Productions for a limited edition 10" vinyl single released in March 2005. New drummer Stipen, of BLACKSHINE, TRANSPORT LEAGUE, DIA PSALMA and MERCILESS, enrolled in the Spring.

Contracting with Black Lodge Records, the band utilised White Chapel Music Machine Studio in Stockholm to cut a debut album in early 2006. 'Oxytocin' would be set for September release.

In May 2009 guitarist Freddie Eugene announced he had joined forces with ex-TERRA FIRMA bassist Izmo Ledderfejs and former BLACKSHINE axeman Stabel Miserabel in a new project branded ATLANTIC TIDE.
