Stockholm Metal band fronted by female singer Wampyra. DARK EDEN was manifested during 1998 by drummer Hack, first settling on a line-up of Wampyra, lead guitarist Frodo, rhythm guitarist Ozzy and Hack on drums. Just days prior to recording a 1999 demo, 'Winterland', Ozzy exited. Sessions would be completed with Niklas Sjöström of RAISE HELL contributing bass parts. Subsequently, Magnus Karkea, of TALION, was introduced as second guitarist. DARK EDEN re-entered the studio in August 2000 to craft a second demo, billed 'Seduced', but internal frictions nearly split the band at this juncture.

Wampyra and Frodo re-formulated the band by introducing Fredrik Jansson on rhythm guitar and Fredrik Palmqvist on the drums. A further demo, 'Heart Of Stone', was delivered in January 2001. Unfortunately the unit splintered once again and a prior commitment to perform at the 'Emergenza' festival would be undertaken with RAISE HELL's Jonas Nilsson and Dennis Ekdahl acting as stand ins. Re-building once again, Beard was pulled in on rhythm guitar and Uinthor on bass. In late 2001 Slicer substituted Frodo. Beard was replaced by Nille in March 2005.
