STATE OF MIND's frontman Conny Lind boasts association with acts such as RACEWAY, TALK OF THE TOWN and UNIT X. Lind also fronted the original incarnation of GREAT KING RAT. Keyboard player Patrick Applegren has been in major acts such as TREAT and POWER. The STATE OF MIND 'Mother' record would only see the light of day in Japan, courtesy of the JVC Victor label. The group backed up American AOR star JEFF PARIS at two 'Gods Of AOR' events in Milton Keynes and Manchester in 1993.

In April of 2004 the MTM Classix label re-released the 'Mother' album, adding tracks from the EP 'Dream Those Dreams' and a new composition 'Good Old Times' and two previously unheard tracks under the billing of 'Memory Lane'.
