INCAPACITY, established during 2002, is a Skövde based heavyweight amalgam of Swedish Death Metal talent. Featured would be EDGE OF SANITY and INFESTDEAD lead vocalist Andreas "Dread" Axelsson, UNMOORED and SOLAR DAWN guitarist Christian Älvestam, PAN.THY.MONIUM and ASHES guitarist Robert Ivarsson, SOLAR DAWN bassist Anders Edlund with the UNMOORED, SOLAR DAWN and TRAUMATIZED credited Henrik Schönström on drums. The industrious Älvestam has an extended roll call of band endeavours such as CARNALIZED, ANDUIN '98, EVENDIM, LORD OF THRONES, ORGY OF FLESH, SATTYG, RED SKIES DAWNING, THE STINK BUG COLLECTIVE and DEN TIDLÖSA EVIGHETEN.

The debut 2003 'Chaos Complete' album was produced by CARNAL FORGE frontman Jonas Kjellgren. A June 2004 INCAPACITY album '9th Order Extinct', was recorded at Soundlab Studios in Örebro with producer Mieszko. For a one off gig on 1st October at the Belsepub in Gothenburg supporting IMPIOUS the band would be fronted by THE CROWN frontman Johan Lindstrand. That same year Christian Älvestam would be found fronting Jonas Kjellgren's SCAR SYMMETRY band for their 'Symmetric In Design' debut.

In December 2005 INCAPACITY would be joined on vocals by the high profile figure of Johan Lindstrand of ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, also formerly of THE CROWN and IMPIOUS. Lindstrand also guested on Austrian Death Metal band DECOMPOSED CRANIUM's third album, 'Death Roulette'. Christian Älvestam donated guest vocals to ZONARIA's 2006 debut album 'Rendered In Vain', featuring on the track 'Attending Annihilation'.

During late 2007 Christian Älvestam and ANGEL BLAKE bassist Anders Edlund announced the Swedish/Finnish Progressive Metal "supergroup" SOLUTION.45, featuring in its ranks keyboard player Mikko Härkin, ex-SONATA ARCTICA and KOTIPELTO, second guitarist Jani Stefanovic, from MISERATION and ESSENCE OF SORROW, guitarist Tom Gardiner, of SCORCHED EARTH TACTICS and HATEFORM, and drummer 'Stuka' (a.k.a. Rolf Pilve), of ESSENCE OF SORROW, MISERATION and DREAMTALE.
