Skåne based NONEXIST was the post ARCH ENEMY formation of vocalist Johan Liiva. Joining the frontman for the 2002 'Deus Deceptor' album would be Matte Modin of DARK FUNERAL and DEFLESHED with WIDOW and ANDROMEDA's Johan Reinholdz. Matte Modin departed and during the Summer of 2003 vocalist Johan Liiva exited too leaving NONEXIST as a solo venture. Despite this, Reinholdz still made preperations to record a second album for the New Hawen label.

In November 2004 Johan Reinholdz temporarily joined the ranks of SKYFIRE for dates in Spain.
