Gothenburg's SEPTIC BROILER, founded during 1989, released the 1990 demo 'Enfeebled Earth', limited to just 100 copies, after which they adopted the more familiar DARK TRANQUILLITY title. Singer Anders Fridén subsequently joined IN FLAMES. Both guitarists Mikael Stanne and Nicke Sundin would form part of an early HAMMERFALL line-up.
