A melodic Heavy Metal act founded in 1999. Frontman Kristian Wallin had previously been a member of MEDOW whilst the rhythm section of bass player Stefan Englund and drummer Kristian Engqvist are both veterans of Kinna based Death Metal band SICKNESS. Guitar player Jimmie Bergqvist has formerly operated in a HELLOWEEN covers band. The year of their inception would witness the issuing of a debut demo swiftly followed by the self financed mini album 'Imagination'. These latter recordings saw production credits given to KING DIAMOND's Andy LaRocque.

RISING FAITH also feature on the French 'Metallion' magazine compilation 'Rising Forces' and the 2000 'Witchcraft & Flolklore' collection.

During November of 2001 Wallin opted to concentrate solely on lead vocals thus RISING FAITH duly enrolled Fredrik Jordanius of CONVICTION into the vacant guitar role.

In April of 2002 it was revealed that erstwhile RISING FAITH man Kristian Enqvist had assembled a side venture billed as COSMIC SPHERE. Other participants included Antti Wirman of WARMEN and CRAYDAWN, Tapio Oksanen of CRAYDAWN and LION'S SHARE guitarist Lars Criss. In November of 2004 Kristian Wallin joined MORIFADE. The singer would also front retro 80s Heavy Metal band DANGER.

Early 2005 saw the arrival of ABLAZE, assembled by ex-RISING FAITH guitarist Fredrik Jordanius, former ZONATA drummer Mike Cameron Force, vocalist Johannes Nyberg and bassist Lukasz Strach. That same year Fredrik Jordanius, claiming he had "had enough of tight leather jeans, double bass drums and high pitched falsetto screams", also launched the straight ahead Rock act EGONAUT. Jordanius joined LAKE OF TEARS in 2009.
