Having released the 'Fear Of Time' single in 1989 ONE CENT would splinter with guitarist Fredrik Åkesson going on to form SHOCK TILT after leaving the band and later recorded with TALISMAN. Vocalist Stefan Berggren subsequently fronted SNAKES IN PARADISE. ONE CENT changed their name to TAURUS and had a later line-up following the single which featured ex POWER and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN drummer Zepp Urgard and bassist Thomas Thorberg.

Early 2005 found Fredrik Åkesson joining the touring line-up TIAMAT, replacing regular guitarist Thomas Petersson who had been detained by "parental duties". That September, Åkesson enrolled himself into the ranks of ARCH ENEMY.
