A Swedish band very strongly influenced by the American 'Bay Area' Thrash scene, MEZZROW issued their debut album in 1990 but were dropped by Active Records and suffered the further indignation of bassist Conny Welen jumping ship to join HEXENHAUS then DRY DEAD RIVER. Opting not to replace Welen, MEZZROW struggled on with vocalist Uffe Petersson adopting bass duties. The band recorded a new four track demo in 1991, but would eventually split. Uffe Petersson subsequently became vocalist with ROSICRUCIAN.
