A 1986 Norrköping Death Metal project from CARDINAL SIN's Magnus 'Devo' Andersson, a true veteran of the extreme Metal scene being also a former member of MARDUK,ALLEGIANCE, CARDINAL SIN, PAIN, GRAVITY and DEAR MUTANT.OVERFLASH's debut came in 1992 with the demo 'Sodomizing Songs Of Pure Radiation'.

The debut 1994 album 'Threshold To Reality', recorded at Unisound Studio in Finspang and released through MNW Zone, involved the ever busy EDGE OF SANITY vocalist Dan Swanö filling a drumming role. Second opus 'Overflash' emerged in 1996, followed up by 'Silent Universe' that same year.

During May of 2004 Magnus 'Devo' Andersson had rejoined MARDUK as bass player.
