Biography

KAYSER, initiated in Ängelholm during the Summer of 2004 but announced as 2005 broke, is a heavyweight collaboration of Swedish elite musicians comprising the SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, AEON and THE MUSHROOM RIVER BAND credited singer Spice (a.k.a. Christian Stöstrand), Mattias Svensson of THE DEFACED, drummer Bob Ruben, an ex-THE MUSHROOM RIVER BAND, ANDROGYNE, COMFORT MIND and CLAUSTROPHOBIA member, THE AWESOME MACHINE bassist Anders Wenander and former AEON, RISE AND SHINE, ALL THE WAY and JACK OF ALL TRADES guitar player Fredrik Finnander. The new combo soon inked a deal with Italy's Scarlet Records, entering Caesar Studios in mid January to cut an opening album with a working title of 'Kayserhof', this later changed to 'Frame The World...Hang It On The Wall'.

KAYSER utilised Caesar Studios in February 2006, working with producer Rickard Caesar, to cut a second album. At the same juncture Finnander would be replaced by Jocke Pettersson. Album sessions were wrapped up in mid April. An EP, 'Good Citizen', arrived in July.

KAYSER acted as support to the February through March 2007 European tour dates of EKTOMORF and BLINDED COLONY.
