Biography

NECROCIDE, including RIMTHURS drummer Tommy Holmer, released a self titled demo in 2000 followed by "The Second Killing" demo in 2002. The band, initially a "vampire" Death Metal duo of Tommy Holmer and Per Söderlund, had started life billed as VAIN. When formative members Erland and Richard decamped the project evolved into SEPULCHRAL, now being fronted by Daniel Westerberg.

In mid 1997 Richard returned to the ranks as bassist for new recordings and the debut SEPULCHRAL gig in January of the following year. That Summer Westerberg exited and Per Söderlund took over as lead vocalist, this move also signalling a switch to Grind orientated Metal and a name change to NECROCIDE. Subsequently, Roberth Svensson of WARGMANE took command of bass, before Svensson and Söderlund changed roles. In 2000 Victor Brandt of TOTALT JÄVLA MȪRKER enrolled as singer for the first official demo.

NECROCIDE released the 'Declaration Of Gore' demo in November of 2003.
