MYKORRHIZA is the Stockholm based Death Metal project formulated in 2001 by erstwhile EXCRUCIATE guitarist Henrik Brynolfsson and the SIN and STAIRLAND credited drummer Martin Karlsson. Cutting a debut eponymous EP in February of 2002 for the Singapore based Konqueror Records the project was fronted on a session basis by Anders Strokirk of BLACKSHINE and NECROPHOBIC repute.

The duo employed a whole host of guest vocalists on the 2003 'Shattered Dreams' album including Anders Strokirk, Lars Levin, Tor Adolfsson, Matilda Karlsson and Siri Hagerfors.
