A fun loving Funkified Rock outfit out of Stockholm. M.O.B. ('Most Oustanding Band') was originally conceived as far back as 1982 by vocalist / guitarist Peter Gustafsson, bass player Bjorn Andersson and drummer Richard Averdahl under the name E.T.G. This title soon switched to M.O.B. for their humbly titled 1983 demo session 'Another Piece Of Shit'. However, by 1985 due to members leaving for other bands and compulsary military service the band split.

M.O.B. were reconvened the following year for the 'Los Mobos' demo with the addition of lead vocalist Gaby Raven. Andersson decamped in 1987 and was replaced by Patrick Reimens for another promotional tape 'The Golden Era Of Swing'. A further blow struck the band's stability though when in 1988 Raven opted to return to his native Israel. Fredrick Notling stepped into the breach for 1989's 'Crazy Tape' cassette and M.O.B.'s debut album 'Read My Hips'. Following further demos billed as 'The Hip Continues' a single track CD single 'High On Emotion' emerged on Hawk Records. 1994 saw the departure of Reimens and the recruitment of Averdahl's younger sibling Roger on bass. His brother's tenure would prove fleeting though and Conny Goldschmidt took the role for the 1998 'Loony Tunes' album.

M.O.B.'s third album, 'Merrie Melodies', surfaced in 2001.The 2007 album 'The Greatest Enemy' was produced by Fredrik Folkare.

A live DVD, 'The Greatest Enemy - Live In Stockholm 2008', was filmed on 2nd August 2008 in Stockholm.
