Biography

Heavy Metal band MINDLESS started life billed as MINDLESS SINNER. The band's first single included bassist Anders Karlsson in the line-up. The band re-formulated to comprise frontman Christer Göransson, the guitar team of Magnus Danneblad and Jerker Edman, bassist Christer Carlsson with Tommy Johansson on the drums. The single, 'Broken Freedom', was issued in 1983 with an album, 'Turn On The Power', appearing in 1986. By 1989 the band had shortened their name to MINDLESS, issuing the album 'Missin' Pieces' featuring keyboard player Johan Thunqvist, but had folded in 1990. However, the group was to reform within weeks with drummer Mats Johansson in the fold, previously with AXEWITCH, changing the band name to SKINNY HORSE and releasing an album titled 'No Pain, No Gain'. Vocalist Christer Göransson, guitarist Magnus Danneblad and drummer Tommy Johansson later joined FLUFF.

German label High Vaultage reissued both albums in September 2003 with a swathe of extra tracks.
