Biography

Previously known as GLORIOUS BANKROBBERS, the Swedish group adopted the new title along with the addition of vocalist Michael Oran.

Drummer Anders Odenstrand quit to join MANIC DEPRESSION after the eponymous debut album was released in 1992 and was replaced by ex-GLORY and GOTHAM CITY man Jonas Östman.

Further changes occurred when guitarist Jonas Petersson departed and in his stead came ex-TREAT member Anders Wikström in time for a tour of Europe opening for ACCEPT. The band would later tour as guests to THUNDERHEAD and appeared at the prestigious 'Rock Am Ring' festival in 1994 headlined by AEROSMITH.

MENTAL HIPPIE BLOOD were ultimately to break up in 1995 after a further album, with frontman Michael Oran joining ALBATROSS.
