Melodic Hard Rock band STONELAKE, based out of Lund, recorded their debut album, entitled 'World Entry', for Germany's Metal Heaven Records during 2006. Guitarist Jan Åkesson's previous tradition was with RAVAGE and WHITELIGHT, a band that also featured singer Peter Grundström. Åkesson subsequently journeyed on through WHY NOT, PERFECT STRANGER and DR. BLUE. Grundström persevered with KEE AVENUE before reuniting with Åkesson to forge STONELAKE.

First recordings resulted in a two track demo, capitalised on with the album 'Reincarnation'. The duo was joined by bassist Lasse Johansson and drummer Jeremy Child. STONELAKE then recruited Jaime Salazar on drums, a veteran of BAD HABIT, OPUS ATLANTICA, TIMELESS MIRACLE and THE FLOWER KINGS.
