LOBOTOMY, originally titled RAPTURE, had their debut demo, 'When Sunlight Draws Near', was released in 1990. The band's ensuing 1993 demo, 'Nailed In Misery', was released as a cassette single on the Italian Obscure Plasma label. Later, American label Thrash Corner put the 'Nailed In Misery' sessions together with a previous 1992 demo ('Against The Gods') to make a 1995 CD release titled after the 1992 effort.

Guitarist Lars Jelleryd would depart in early 2001 delaying recording of a new album 'Dislocated'. In August 2004 frontman Max Collin joined HOSTILE REACTION.
