A Kristianstad Death Metal unit often accussed of having Black Metal tendencies, denied by band members. Michael Håkansson is a member of EMBRACED. Chrille Andersson has credits with NON SERVIAM and HELLSPELL. Håkansson also performs with EVERGREY, THE FORSAKEN and was involved with CENOTAPHIA. MORTUM released the 1999 album 'The Druid Ceremony' through Invasion Records.

A large contingent of MORTUM's membership, guitarists Chrille Anderson, Rille Svensson and drummer Bartek Nalezinski, founded melodic Power Metal act SUPREME MAJESTY debuting in June 1999 with the mini-album 'Divine Enigma'. Nalezinski also held associations with INCINERATOR and THE GLADIATOR.
