Nothing at all to do with the former England International footballer KEVIN KEEGAN, KEEGAN the Rock band was named after ex-ARROWZ vocalist Jeff Keegan (real name Per Lindstedt, previously Pär Andersson), utilised ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN drummer Anders Johansson for the first album, 1993's 'Agony In Despair'. Keegan handled lead vocals, guitar and bass. Guitarist 'Thomas Jaeger' is in 'Tommie Agrippa' of HEXENHAUS.

For the second album, 'Mind No Mind' released in 1995, ex-HEXENHAUS drummer Ralph Ryden and former VON ROSEN and BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB bassist Magnus Rosén joined as the project became a fulltime band. Rosén went on to SPOTNICKS, but by 1997 the bassist had joined the enormously successful Trad Metal revivalists HAMMERFALL.
