Katrineholm Metal band KODEEN was created during 2000 by erstwhile personnel from MINDTRIGGER, singer Robert Olofsson, guitarists Mattias Johansson and Henrik Toftelid plus bass player Tobias Karlsson in union with CAPTOR drummer Angelo Mikaj. The following year Olofsson was superseded by another CAPTOR member, Magnus Fasth. An eponymous 2001 demo was capitalised on by a brace of 2002 sessions, 'Anemic', in March, and 'Silence'. The 'IV' demo, produced by CAPTOR guitarist Fredrik Olofsson at Sensus Studios, followed in February 2003. The same formula was utilised for a January 2004 KODEEN demo 'Addicted'.
