KARMANIC was initially founded as the solo venture of THE FLOWER KINGS bass player Jonas Reingold. For the debut album his band colleague Roine Stolt would aid on vocals as does former GLORY and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Göran Edman. Also featured would be Richard Anderson of TIME REQUIEM and MAJESTIC sessioned on keyboards, guitarist Johan Glössner with THE FLOWER KINGS Jaime Salazar and SPACE ODYSSEY's Zoltan Csörsz on drums. Regain Records issued the 'Entering The Spectra' album in 2003. 'Wheel Of Life' followed in 2004.

KARMAKANIC signed with German imprint InsideOut Music for the October 2008 album 'Who's The Boss In The Factory?'. By this juncture the band comprised Reingold, Edman, Csörsz plus guitarist Krister Jonsson, of THE TANGENT, and keyboard player Lalle Larsson.
